I have for many years exchanged therapy treatments with a few close friends, it saves me money and means I get a fantastic treatment and keep myself balanced and healthy.
With the current economic climate, redundancies, uncertainty and rising prices many people find it more difficult to find the spare funds to look after themselves holistically.
I believe passionately in the role of holistic therapies, sound nutrition and creative activities in maintaining a balanced state of mind, body and spirit.
So my dream is to extend the exchange program, I will open it up to all kinds of creative skills, produce, therapies and my big vision is to have a summer event where lots of people can come together to exchange skills and items.

The suggestions above are just a small sample of the skills/products my friends and family could offer, I would also like to organise some skill exchange workshops, is there something you have always wanted to learn? These would be for personal use rather than certificated courses but can benefit us all by learning practical skills or induldging our creative side.
The best way this will work is by spreading the word to like minded friends. I have taken a radical decision and re entered the world of facebook, I have a personal site and one for Peace on Earth Therapy and would love to join up with anyone willing to spread the word. I am well aware that the idea of swapping things is not a new one, however I think its time that it became a more popular one in my life, hence this project.

It will consist of a page on my website where I list a persons skills that can be offered in one column and then what they would consider receiving in exchange in the other. You could include a geographical location if it is a service being offered and an email for communicating through. Please do not be shy or under estimate your own skills.
